Service Provided For New Build, Extensions & Alterations To Buildings.
The initial visit will enable you to discuss your project and design requirements. This will enable us to provide you with advice on the functionality of the design, and also make an initial assessment of the site, building(s) and surrounding influencing factors which may impact the project or other buildings.
From this initial meeting, we will explain the service options in full to enable you to have a full understanding of the design and application process. Once the initial visit has been undertaken, a fee quote will be sent to you with the planning fee, building regulation application fee and our fee to undertake the design drawings and act as your agent through the application process.
Once the service agreement is in place, a measured survey of your property and / or land will be undertaken.
This will enable us to provide you with draft project drawings enabling you to view the design and make comment on any additional changes to suit your project requirements.
A flexible and convenient time will be agreed with you to undertake the survey. This will also enable you to obtain further advice or put forward new ideas you may have following the previous visit.
Statutory consultation for your building works may be required.
We will inform you of what consultations are required, such as planning, conservation planning, building regulation applications etc.
All applications will be made on your behalf once you have been fully briefed.
We will act as your agent through to decision stage making the process run as smooth as possible.
You will be constantly informed of the process and developments as they arise.
Once the consultation process is complete, we will provide you with advice and help with any conditions which form part of an approval and also the documentation issued by the approving body.
This will enable you to appoint your builder / project manager to deal with the construction phase.
